What really makes Whisper Creek Log Homes better?

No Settling

Our framed wall sections, unique fastening systems, and center-beam construction eliminate settling. A stacked log home can settle as much as 6". This settling must be constantly monitored and adjusted during the initial several years after construction otherwise windows may break and doors may not open or close.

Less Cracking

Our logs are carefully selected to contain less than 19% moisture content - the most significant cause of cracking and warping.

Sealed Tight from the Elements

At Whisper Creek we believe that only invited guests should be welcome in your home. For this reason we are one of the only companies in the industry offering the SOLID WALL ADVANTAGE. By using solid 2x6 construction complete with windows installed at the factory and full house wrap applied prior to attaching your hand crafted log exterior you can be assured that only wanted guest will be gathered around the table. For the finishing touch we use only the highest quality stain and chink offered with a limited lifetime warranty from our partners at Sashco.

System-Built in Canada or Arkansas

We employ and train only the highest skilled craftsman to build your log home. All of our employees are held to the highest of standards in maintaining the quality and integrity of each and every Whisper Creek Log Home.

Abundant Supply of Environmentally Friendly Raw Materials

We are proud to construct our log exteriors from “dead stand” trees. These damaged forest areas have perished due to fire, or by other natural causes. We are assisting in the clean up of many areas and are pleased to “recycle” some of nature's most “prized possessions”.

System-Built

A complete and thorough quality control system is managed at both facilities to ensure the highest quality product and to maintain the integrity of the product at each stage of the process. This allows for a system built home constructed in a controlled environment that you will be as proud to own as we are to create.

Manufacturing Process

Through our revolutionary building methods, Whisper Creek Log Homes provides primary residences and recreational cabins with a difference. Our homes have the appearance of a traditional “full log” product but without the inherent shortfalls such as shifting, cracking, checking and shrinking which is a cause of drafts and heat loss. Besides the lengthy construction time, a full log home is very expensive as well. We provide an affordable log home that is quick to build and provides long lasting, trouble-free stately beauty for years of enjoyment! Build your Dream Home

Step 1

Contact RE/MAX Bella Tierra of Angel Fire for a complimentary log home consultation.

Step 2

One of our design guides will help you determine which of our flexible plan and optional upgrades best matches your dream. You will then be quoted a firm price.

Step 3

When you are happy with your selection, you authorize a reservation agreement and pay a deposit (this is applied to the purchase price). You will then receive a full set of plans enabling your contractor to price the site preparation, interior finishing and arrange for any permits required.

Step 4

A contract is then completed, with all final specifications. This calls for an additional deposit.

Step 5

We begin building your home and provide you with a firm delivery date.

Step 6

Your home is shipped from our factory, placed on your prepared foundation and built to a “lock-up” stage within days.
