Taos Pines Ranch Estates

Taos Pines Ranch Estates is located on the southwest edge of the spectacular Moreno Valley. It is on the National Scenic Byway known as the Enchanted Circle which travels through the glorious Sangre de Christo Mountains.

Taos Pines Ranch Estates is a private community of mountain lots on Hwy 64's Palo Flechada Pass which connects Angel Fire and Taos. It is a subdivision of 10+ acre parcels. Currently 41 homes have been built or are under construction on the 99 lots. Many lots on the upper road boarder Kit Carson National Forest. Some property owners live in their beautiful homes year-round and others come to experience the mountain lifestyle whenever they find the chance.

Firewise Communities/USA is a project of the National Wildfire Coordinating Group's Wildland/Urban Interface Working Team and is the newest element of the Fire Program. It provides citizens with the knowledge necessary to maintain an acceptable level of fire readiness while ensuring firefighters that they can use equipment more efficiently during a wildland fire emergency. The program draws on a community's spirit, its resolve and its willingness to take responsibility for its ignition potential.

New Fire Substation: Colfax County Fire District 6 completed construction in Fall 2007 of a 2-bay substation equipped with two fire vehicles. The substation is located at the base of Palo Flechado Pass at the Taos Pines Ranch lower entrance.
