The Details

A degree in Interior Architecture from Kansas State University led to my first career of owning an Architecture, Design & Furniture company, and later joining Herman Miller, Inc. as a market manager and workplace consultant.     I married Stephanie, our Qualifying Broker, in 1995 and discovered Angel Fire. This beautiful valley became our vacation place. As our youngest graduated from high school we found a way to make this place our permanent home, a place they all want to visit.     Eventually I became less enamored with traveling outside this beautiful valley and began my career in real estate as a natural extension of my sales, marketing and design background.     My passion to see Angel Fire continue as an extraordinary place to live and visit, while creating value for those who have invested in this valley, led to my election as a Village Councilor in March of 2008.     Golf is my hobby and there are many nationally recognized golf courses nearby in addition to the great high mountain course right here at Angel Fire Resort.

My Story

"Selling is the process of helping someone discover something of value".     Involved in design and sales most of my life means that I have been helping my customers discover valuable solutions by being a good problem solver, consensus builder, and organized person. Can you be a designer and be highly organized at the same time? I’ve experienced that being an organized person helps me be the best designer and problem solver for my customers. In addition; my architecture, marketing and graphic design background are the basis for creating successful marketing plans that assist in selling our clients properties     I was never much of a spectator; even as a child I would rather be playing a sport or participating in an activity rather than watching others. I used to play whatever sport was in season until it was past time to come home. That sense of participation must be what drives me to stay with the job and get it done even if it’s time to turn out the lights.     I am most happy when I’m with customers helping them find their dream home, homesite, investment property…discovering something of value.     Having been a Planning and Zoning Commissioner and now a Village Councilor provides me with tremendous insight into the plans, dreams and desires of our community. I enjoy being a resource of information not only for my customers, but for other Realtors and the citizens of Angel Fire.     Words that express who I am: trustworthy, organized, knowledgeable, humorous, creative, kind and positive.     I would love to help you “discover something of value in Angel Fire”

After a year of looking at various properties in multiple states, we met Stuart a few days after Christmas 2008 while on vacation. Two days later we were looking at homes from the list he had emailed us the day prior. We never felt rushed to look quickly or decide quickly, in fact, looking at each house was a pleasurable and educational experience with Stuart. We were very impressed with Stuarts’ knowledge about all things in and out of each house and his willingness to go the extra mile to assist us with our long distance purchase.
